Your alarm system, if installed and managed properly can be used as another layer of defense in protecting your family, home, business and personal property from would be criminals.
The City of Tempe also requires that all alarms, residential and commercial, both existing and new installations, whether monitored by an alarm company or not monitored must be registered with the Tempe Police Department. This permit ensures that we have contact names (Responsible Parties) and telephone numbers on file in case of an emergency. In addition, you may be subject to a $100.00 fine for each false alarm that the police respond to if you do not have the required permit on file.
